Angeni

When she just arrived at Haven

In June/July 2023, Kareema saw a post of a mother cat raising her 5 kittens on the street. She immediately went to get the mother and her 5 kittens off the street.

Since then they have been living in the safety of ‘the haven’. Angeni is one of the 5 kittens and has been staying in ‘the haven’ for almost her entire life. She would love to have a loving home of her own.

Since she was a young kitten around June 2023 she is now about 1.5 years old.

Angeni is good with people, she loves to get attention. As far as we know Angeni is a healthy lady. The option to have her tested for FIV/FeLV is available.

She gets along well with the other cats and cat-friendly dog in ‘the haven’.

All SHE cats have received their basic vaccinations against common cat diseases and Rabies vaccination. Deworming treatment and anti-flea treatment. And are also chipped and sterilized. Angeni is also litter box trained.

Angeni is a literal street cat as she was born on the streets. But since she was adopted into Haven as a young kitten, she didn’t really have to go through the trauma of that life. – Angeni was very lucky. Many thousands of kittens on the streets of Cairo didn’t.

Now that Angeni has grown from a kitten to a full-grown young cat… will her luck hold? Who can give her a home? A safe, loving home?

Whoever thinks they can do that then please read our adoption procedure. And don’t hesitate to contact us.

Mooji

Just arrived in Haven

It was the end of January 2025 when suddenly children stood in front of the gate of ‘the haven’ with Mooji in their hands.

The children saw Mooji being chased by a group of street dogs on the street and they saved her from the dogs. Then they immediately went with Mooji to ‘the haven’ where Kareema immediately took her inside.

We estimate Mooji was born around June 2022. Which makes her about 2.5 years old now.

Mooji is a very friendly and affectionate cat. Mooji is very people-oriented, she loves to get attention and to be petted. She is a master at giving headbutts.

Mooji is friendly towards other cats and the cat-friendly dog in her apartment in ‘the haven’.

As far as we know Mooji has no health problems. It is possible to test her for FIV/FeLV.

Like all SHE cats, Mooji has received her basic vaccinations. As well as the mandatory rabies vaccination. An anti-worm treatment and anti-fleas. Mooji is sterilized and chipped. And is also litter box trained.

Mooji has found safety in Haven. We want this to be the same with her adopter. That is why she must be an indoor cat.

Who can give Mooji a home? Is it you?

Then take a look at our adoption procedure. And don’t hesitate to contact us for questions.
